Bianca Hassell [known professionally as B.Ankha, knew she wanted to pursue music at a young age after writing her very 1st song at the age of 13 called ‘My Music.’ Since then, B.Ankha has fallen in love with the entire recording and engineering process and has focused the last decade on creating quality songs that resonate universally. “My main influence, honestly, is life,” B. Ankha says. Wherever my path takes me, it always comes with obstacles, but they always lead to learning experiences and a sense of accomplishment.” Her musical influence, however, is Teyana Taylor due to her capacity for being a triple threat and her ability to become a boss by overcoming adversity in the music industry. In efforts to show the world she is not afraid to put in that work, B.Ankha has touched many stages in the NYC area such as headlining ‘SOB’s,’ as well as performing at The Daze Summit, Taj Nightclub, Live Mondays, RNBPLYLST as well as various showcases to expose her talent to the masses. Also Recently, B.Ankha’s ‘Bmix’ of “Worth it” by Offset ft Don Toliver has gained the support of Hot 97’s DJ Spaze, who regularly plays the record on his weekend sets, which ultimately led to her recording with him for an upcoming project. She also won the ASMA R&B Artist of The Year in 2021. Most recently, B.Ankha dropped her live performance of her newest single ‘Shift’ Produced by G Tuck [drops July 1st on all DSPs], on one of the biggest online music platforms ‘On The Radar’ and has amassed over 50k + views, thus far and growing. Her previous single & video ‘Mind Games’ is still moving online and has her focused on creating content around her projects as well as speaking on various podcasts to promote her music, such as On the Grynd, Spill It Ent, I’m Asking for a Friend, Bars In The Garage, GrindVagueSeason, BET Artist Spotlight and has received support from several blogs to help with the overall buzz. To date, B.Ankha has an impressive 200,000 streaming plays (she has only professionally released music for over a year now), and that’s only the beginning. Overall, B.
